Man cannot live on Cake alone. There are just occasions that call for different flavors, textures, and forms. The greatest of all of these non-cake pastry categories is Pie. We make our pies in a manner that would make anyone’s grandmother proud: sctratch made crust, rolled out by hand, and filled with real fruit (never canned). Fruits to choose from, or combine include apples, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, cranberries, peaches, and rhubarb. We’ll even throw strawberries into the mix when they’re in season. We finish it
off with either a traditional lattice or crunchy oat streusel top.
And fruit pies are just the beginning. That delectable looking fellow that you see at the top of the page is the Southern American Classic, Pecan Pie. And then there’s Pumpkin, and Eggnog, Chocolate, Coconut and Banana cream.So many pies, so little time.
We keep a limited assortment of whole pies on hand at all times, but if your heart is set on a very specific flavor, please call ahead and let us make one special, just for you. We ask that you allow 48 hours notice for pie special orders.
Note: We bake all of our pies in glass pie pans, so the purchase of a whole pie requires a $10 deposit, to be refunded to you upon the plate’s return.
